Does your child love art? Would he or she like to study with a professional artist in a real art studio?

We encourage our students to experience the world of art freely and independently. We emphasize the process, not the end product. We believe free exploration of the arts helps to create a sense of accomplishment, independent and creative thinking, and high self-esteem.

Our classes are designed to allow students to advance at their own pace, in a comfortable and creative setting. We include art history as we learn from our ancestors while exploring new art mediums. We begin with basics such as color, line, shape and texture. We work with drawing tools like pencils, pens and markers, acrylic paints, chalk, soft pastels and oil pastels, beads and more!

Our class fee includes most supplies. Additional supplies are available for purchase at group discounts through our store.

We're also flexible! We understand that for today's family, it's difficult to commit to consecutive classes. Going on vacation, have another commitment, or just not in the mood for class? No worries – students may miss up to 2 classes per 6 weeks, at which point a new block of 4 classes must be purchased.

Children's drop-in studio classes are held on Saturday mornings from 10:00 am – 12:30 pm for children ages 3 – 12. Parents – run your errands, exercise, or just get in that "me-time" while your children socialize and create.

Classes are sold in blocks of 4 for $140. With the purchase of a 4 week session at the regular price, siblings may attend for $10 per sibling, per class. Other class days may be available. Please call 708.807.0133 to schedule.
